Test Case Execution Process

Page history last edited by david 14 years, 7 months ago

Test cases are created in order to detect bugs and errors in the software product that is being developed.Test cases are the set of variables or conditions used by the software testers or developers to determine whether the system is working properly. Test case execution is the process of executing test scripts in a logical sequence with specific input data. The results are monitored and the output is recorded in test sheets. When the required output is obtained, the particular test case is said to be successfully executed.

Since there will be more test cases to run, it may become difficult for the testers to know which test case should be executed first. To avoid such confusion, testers are seeking test cases execution tools that automatically finds and executes each test cases and updates report in a proper format quickly and efficiently.
